If your parents don't know everything that the trips will be about, tell them in detail especially the good points like what you will learn and the advantages of learning the things that you will be taught. Take a notebook and write two columns. The first is what you will learn eg language and the next column write what the advantage of learning the language is. So the first column has EVENT and the next has ADVANTAGE/LESSON and when you are through (think real hard for impressive lessons that will convince them) then sit them down and tell them, read it to them. When you finish that, tell them that you are willing to work for that money. Everything that you do from today, attach a pay to it and do this arithmetics before the meeting with your parents. Make sure it covers half of $6233 and agree with them that they will double it when you earn 50% of the amount you need. That is, you work your *** for half and they pay you double. Show how you are not just going for fun, but also to improve yourself and your future. Act responsible. They will understand and I wish you best of luck.
