Can I still send and receive pictures if I unlock my T-mobile sidekick lx to work wih an AT&T sim card?

I dont have the sidekick lx yet, but I hope if get it soon. My AT&T LG Xneno has water damage and it is slowly falling apart. I really want to get the T-moblie sidekick lx without having to make a contract with T-moblie. Anyway I know if I unlock it I can send text and make and receive calls, but my question is, is if I can still send and receive pictures?
