What was your first gay bar experience?

Mine was 3 years ago. I went to Minneapolis which is a 6 hour drive and went to the Gay 90's. I was very nervous. I ended up having a blast. It was the first time I was able to go to a bar with the feeling of freedom. I ended up chatting and even making a couple of friends. Also, it was my first time being hit on by another guy.
