How can i deactivate a yahoo plus account? i didn't know a plus account is a paying account.?

i have a friend who has a yahoo mail account which was inactive for quite sometime already. she wanted to activate the account again but mistakenly clicked the okay on in haste when she realized it was a yahoo plus account. how does she deactivate this? all she wanted to subscribe to was the free yahoo mail account. Please help.
