As if running out of petral?

i have a vaxhall corsa, when im driving it feels like its going to stall, best described as if its running out of fuel. this can happen at any speed and a bit jerky when it happens, also i do not n if its related but i have noticed that the fuel indicater looks as if its gong up alot!
