I have a mole but i need to know the safest way to get it removed and wether it comes at a huge expense?

it is on the side of my head next to my eyebrow and i wonder can it still be removed even though it is ther. i tried a herbel remedy by puting garlic on it. it did lighten its colour but it still remained a small lump. i am able to cover it with my hair but i find myself very concious...as well as that i have 2 other moles on my forehead i would like to remove. help!...
