Women tell me am I being selfish or not?

My husband is on his way to do paperwork for a vasectomy. He has 6 kids including the 1 we had 9 months ago. This is my only child. He knew I wanted another one. Not right now, but after the oldest kids get out of school, I wanted another one. His mom and him decided he needs to get fixed so she makes his appointment and hes on his way now. I had no say so in this. Im really hurt. I mean who is married to him anyways. What do I say or do?
